As stated in our mission, the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) at Chiang Mai University "commits to produce both socially conscious students and close-to-practice knowledge as well as to provide ethical guidance and managerial excellence for business community."
Currently, the School is involving in the AACSB "Business" Accreditation, oversighted by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) International. This process refers to the rigorous and comprehensive self-evaluation and peer-review that requires our commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Less than 5% of the world's 13,000 business programs have earned the AACSB Accreditation as the mark of highest quality for the business schools.
The process consists of three stages: 1) Eligibility Application, 2) Initial Application, and 3) Continuous Improvement Review. Upon a successful completion of Eligibility Application in June 2015, the School is currently engaging in the Initial Application stage that requires the self-assessment and action plan to address weaknesses and maintain continuous improvement of strengths.
